Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Bodhinox ("we", "us", or "our") handles personal information in connection with https://www.bodhinox.com and the Bodhinox_chat application. Bodhinox_chat supports Facebook Login, WhatsApp messaging and Instagram messaging. The information processed depends on the features used and the permissions granted through Meta.

• Information you provide: your name, contact details, business details, support requests, and other information you choose to send to us.
• Facebook Login information: the app-scoped user identifier and profile information Meta makes available under the permissions granted, such as your name and profile picture. An email address is processed only if it is provided through an authorized permission or supplied by you.
• WhatsApp messaging information: WhatsApp identifiers, phone numbers, profile or business names, message content, media or attachments, timestamps, and delivery or read status made available through the connected messaging service.
• Instagram messaging information: Instagram identifiers, usernames, authorized account information, conversation content, media or attachments, and messaging timestamps or status made available through the connected messaging service.
• Connection information: the business or account identifiers, permission records and authorization tokens needed to maintain an authorized connection.
• Website technical information: hosting providers may process IP addresses, browser and device information, requested URLs and request times to deliver and secure the website. The website stores the chosen light/dark theme in your browser's local storage.

We do not ask you to send your Facebook, Instagram or WhatsApp password to Bodhinox. Do not include passwords, one-time codes or access tokens in support or privacy requests.

We use information to authenticate users, operate authorized account connections, send and receive messages requested through the service, display and manage conversations, provide support, maintain security, prevent misuse, and meet applicable legal obligations. We process Meta Platform Data only for the features and purposes described here and permitted by the authorization granted and Meta's applicable terms.

We do not sell Meta Platform Data or use it for data-broker services. Connecting an account does not authorize unrelated advertising or unsolicited messaging.

Information is shared with Meta and the intended message recipients as needed to perform the connected features. We may use service providers for hosting, infrastructure and support, with access limited to what is needed to provide those services. The public Bodhinox website is hosted on Vercel.

We may disclose information where required by applicable law or where necessary to address fraud, abuse, security incidents or threats to people's rights. Services provided by Meta and other third parties are also subject to their own privacy policies. Websites featured in our portfolio operate separately and are not covered simply because we link to them.

We retain personal information only as long as necessary to provide the requested service, maintain an authorized connection, resolve support or security matters, or meet applicable legal obligations. We delete information when it is no longer needed for those purposes or in response to a valid deletion request, subject to any legal requirement to retain a limited record.

Removing a Meta connection stops the permissions associated with that connection; it does not necessarily remove information already held by Bodhinox. Use the data deletion instructions to request removal of that information.

You can manage or revoke permissions using the relevant Facebook, Instagram or WhatsApp account or business settings. You can also ask us to access, correct or delete your information, or exercise other rights available under applicable law, by emailing udaykumar@bodhinox.com.

Our full deletion process is available at https://www.bodhinox.com/data-deletion. It is available to all users of Bodhinox_chat, including people who can no longer access the app. We may request the minimum information needed to verify that a request relates to your data.

We use safeguards appropriate to the information and services involved. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Providers may process information in countries other than your own; we are responsible for applying the safeguards required by applicable law to our processing.

Bodhinox_chat is intended for people eligible to use the connected Meta services under their applicable age requirements. It is not directed to children below the minimum age required by applicable law. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information that should be removed.

We will publish revisions on this page and update its date. Where required, we will provide additional notice of material changes.
